Reflection

At the beginning of the project, we struggled to find a solid idea. Our first idea, the travel google glass app was too complicated with too many features and possibilities while our second idea, nutritional phone app was not mixed reality enough. We used all the research and exploration we did for the first two ideas to help develop our final idea, NUTRISPEC. Nutrispec helps people eat healthy whether, for medical reasons or overall health, our interface makes cooking at home fun and easy and gives you tips on how to make your cooking even healthier. Since we only had one week to develop Nutrispec we are happy with our final presentation. We have decided to keep working on the project together in the break to refine the ideas and interface.

Animations and Video

Things we thought about but could not change in time: Moving cat onto the side of the timers so you don't have to look across the interface for different information. Washing hands animation after chicken. Pictures of what food to cut, boil, stir or fry next so you have an order. Calories next to plate not pot. Animations: Evolution of timers: Tracking and masking was used: Final Video:

Some of the Illustrations for the Video Script Hello, Harry from Nutrispec. Technology has the potential to help us learn, and improve the quality of our lives. In today's world with microwave meals, cheap takeout, and fast food, eating healthy can be a challenge. Nutrispec smart glasses make learning to cook healthy meals easy. Nutrispec scans the ingredients you want to use and suggests healthy recipes options suited for your personal health requirements. Nutrispec uses timers so that your food is cooked perfectly every time, it helps control your portion size and uses smart technology to give useful tips on how to make your meals healthier and delicious. Let us see a demonstration: video demo with stir-fry Nutrispec glasses have a built-in Spectroscopy scanner. This works by emitting light waves at food and then counts the photons that are reflected back to it. Using this information we can create a graph which shows the number of photons counted per wavelength.

App Aesthetic:  We want to create a fun bold look for our app which fun colours but a simple design. Here are some ideas: Our own  The script for video: *logo* Technology has the potential to improve the quality of our lives. Keeping track of something as simple as the foods we eat should be easy, but in today's world with ready-made meals, processed foods, and chemically ridden food. It can be hard to know exactly what is going into our bodies.   Hi, I am Danielle. And I am Annabelle, we are the head designers at ……….. . With ……… we have created a simple yet reliable way to know exactly what is in your food.
