What makes it MR?
It projects a digital hologram into your physical surroundings that you can interact with.
How is it useful and to whom is it useful?
• It utilizes technology to Improve Insights for Surgeons.
• Physicians could plan their entire intervention using 3D holograms, where they could accurately see the spaces for making incisions and clearly envision the consequences of their moves.
• HoloLens presents new ways for medical education as it is able to project the human body in its full size in front of med students. Thus, the organs, veins or bones will be visible accurately in 3D.

Brainstorm: 4 ideas
Anxiety App
- We discussed mental illness as a possible topic for our project, in particular, an app or device that could aid those who suffer from anxiety in stressful situations. We talked about having an app that you could download to your phone which you would then follow a setup guide to cater to your personal needs.
Feedback:
- Having the pop up displayed more discreetly. Wherever your lens is directed e.g at your hand.
- More in-depth for what each mode does.
- A Medical Plant Identifier that can help you make your own herbal medicines and is helpful in case of emergencies.
Feedback:
- More of a hobbyist
- More for an emergency apocalypse
- Could aid people in taking so so dangerous drugs
Fast Aid
- A delivery app similar to Uber Eats but for sick people who cant go down to the pharmacy to pick up unprescribed meds. i.e lozenges, medicine e.t.c The app will project medications that are available at the closest pharmacy in your area and after filling in a quick form of your symptoms, advise which could help. and will be delivered straight to your door. and get this....it works for after hours too :D
- You can just order it online, despite it not arriving as quick
- How is it a mixed reality concept
- An app used when traveling, recommends the fastest/cheapest or most scenic route to take when you input your destination. giving the price and estimates your arrival time. Could be extremely useful when you go overseas and visit a new country.
Feedback:
- Input your likes and dislikes, will take you in the direction of things that match your interests.
- The luxurious route, 5-star experience for rich people
- Real-time wayfinding you to your destination, including safety features.
